All Saints' maintains close links with its church primary school.
All Saints Church of England School, Carshalton is a happy, high-achieving school that aims to give children security, confidence, success and stability. It accepts children for who they are, and helps them to develop confidence through the use of skills, in an atmosphere that encourages them to know themselves and accept each other as individuals.
The school aims to promote spirituality, success and self-esteem, helping the children to develop lively enquiring minds, good personal relationships, and the knowledge and skills to equip them for a future in the ever-changing world in which we live. The school values its strong partnership with parents, believing that parents are instrumental in their children's development.
The committed staff at All Saints School provides a wealth of learning experiences within an exciting and stimulating environment. Such opportunities enable the children to acquire and develop the skills to choose and discriminate, to reflect and predict, and to analyse and describe the world around them. The children are happy, enthusiastic and open individuals who are a delight to teach.
Father John Thewlis is both Rector of All Saints Church and Chairman of the Governors of All Saints School. Carshalton parish church has for many years played an active part in primary education. At one stage early in the nineteenth century, the rector and churchwardens allowed a school to be held in the chancel of the old church. Other buildings followed, and to-day's purpose-built one-form entry Voluntary Aided infant and junior school in Rotherfield Road is the latest, biggest and best in a long line.
The school is blessed with happy and responsive children, dedicated and skilful staff, supportive parents and governors, attractive modern surroundings, and an environment of great kindness. While its academic record has always been a very fine one, faith is at the heart of a Christian school, so it strives to be a place of love and joy, mutual understanding, and emotional depth. God has been good, and it strives to share those good things.
As well as accepting children aged 4-11 in the primary school, the school also has morning and afternoon nurseries for children aged 3-4.
More information about the school can be obtained from the Axcis recruitment website.
